Sons of Young began in 2007, releasing a series of EPs while solidifying their line up. Often compared to the Clash, Social Distortion, and The Replacements the Sons meld heart, soul, and catchiness into the sound of a new generation’s working class. Sons of Young’s debut, self-titled album was released in 2010 on Baby Moon Records quickly followed by 2011′s “…are not in trend” EP. Their latest album is also self-titled and features 6 new songs and all of 2011′s EP.
Black Mountain Revival: Rhythm driven, acoustic based, whiskey tinged punk rock at it’s finest. Their feet firmly immersed in the roots music sound with vintage instruments and heart pounding bass immediately pull the crowd in once the lights dim and the open chord strikes; Walking the fine line between Appalachian music and the sweaty dives of punk’s yesteryear melt together seamlessly.
